A total of 1,784 visitors were in attendance over the two days of the triple trade fair – Infosecurity 2007, Storage Expo 2007 and Documation 2007 – held in Madrid (Spain). With a complete programme of conferences led by esteemed experts in the various fields, the third edition of the shows also successfully satisfied IT professionals’ need for training. For the next edition of the three events, an organising committee will be set up and will include noteworthy representatives from exhibitors and visitors alike. 

The Infosecurity 2007, Storage Expo 2007 and Documation 2007 shows, all organised by Reed Exhibitions Iberia, closed their doors on March 1st, reporting a total of 1,784 visits from professionals in the fields of information security, data storage and information management. The triple trade fair event, held in its third edition from February 28-March 1 at Campo de las Naciones Municipal Conference Centre (Madrid, Spain), notably featured a complete programme of appearances made by some of the sector’s most celebrated professionals.

The organisers’ goals for this just-concluded edition included attracting an enhanced visitor profile, meaning that the visitors who did attend the three shows were high-ranking IT professionals with substantial decision-making powers in their own companies. And so, although the figures from the final satisfaction survey are not yet available, many exhibitors made it clear to the show organisers that at this edition, they had garnered high returns on their investment in the triple event.

In order to maintain this positive momentum, an official committee for the shows will soon be formed – one in which the entire sector will be represented, both exhibiting companies and visitors. To do this, the organisation will continue to enjoy support from leading organisations from both market segments, such as Asimelec (via the   Commission for IT Confidence and Security in the technology umbrella group) and ISSA-España (the Spanish chapter of the world’s largest association for Information Security Systems professionals).
